Calendar Journal for Outdoor adventures on backcountry Trails

I picked the Trinity-Shasta Mountains as my first Journalism in person to write a Complete report on.  These are the notes as I travel, collect and research, and gather for this story myself.
Back in August 1991 to August 1992 I began and completed my year in the California Conservation Corps.  In that year I worked so hard my body ached, I ate well, and was part of a crew lead by a working supervisor.  I got my CDL, chainsaw certified, Fishery and trail work, part of my crew  dispatched to help after the Oakland Hills fire of 1992, and KP kitchen helper on center.  I was a part of Del Norte center of the CCC.
In August 1992 I went back to Livermore, CA.  A week there and I knew I did not belong.  I missed the woods, I missed the work, and I missed myself.  My step Dad gave me a ride out to the Mountains, where one of my friends from the CCC was finishing up work for the summer with the CCC Backcountry Trail Crew in the Stanislaus Mountains.  (An area where my high school Field Biology teacher hiked our class out to on School Trips in 1988.)  Years Later, I was reminded that I hiked out 17 miles to the crews camp.  I spent almost 3 weeks volunteering for the USFS and got to work with the crew and after.
This year 2015 I took a chance, my dog little bear, and hiked out to visit the BC CCC crew.  One of my ccc friends was now the working supervisor over 20 years later.  I only hiked 5 1/2 miles to the crew camp this time.  My high school friend lent me his camera to get photo evidence and I met up with the pack mules supply team.
